Job Description:
Intake of OTC linens, tagging, labeling, sorting, POS functions, Data entry, Pickup and Drop-off of linens
Responsibilities:
Performs over the counter operations including POS functions, customer service, and Data entry Tagging, labeling, and sorting garments Cleaning and organizing of work station Uses Excel to create reports Uses Word to create memos and other documents as needed Assists project manager with creating piece count reports Performs pickup and drop-off of linens at designated locations on base using company provided vehicle Skills/Abilities:
Attention to detail Ability to work with hands Skill to use Microsoft excel and word Skill to diagnose minor software issues with computers, networks, etc.
preferred Adherence to safety requirements and procedures Ability to maintain a clean and organized work area Ability to work both in teams, and independently Ability to perform tasks in an efficient manner Ability to arrive at work on time daily Effective communication with supervisor, peers, and government personnel Ability to maintain a professional demeanor in the workplace in accordance with HR standards Experience/Credentials and
Qualifications:
Previous experience with laundry and / or dry-cleaning services preferred Previous experience working with Microsoft Office and Windows OS required Must be over the age of 18 Must have a valid Driver's License Must be able to pass a Criminal Background Check Previous experience may be substituted with educational / vocational training equivalent.
Compensation is competitive, and will be based on the amount of previous experience and/or education possessed by the candidate.
Our hours of operation are from 8:
00 am to 5:
00 pm, Monday - Friday.
This position will be Part-Time, with benefits included (Health & Welfare Hours, Vacation, Paid Sick Leave).
A Drug test will be required for chosen candidate.
We retain the right to reject a candidate if they do not agree to comply with our corporate policies and procedures.
Excessive use of cellphones while on the clock will not be tolerated.
