Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage the transportation operations of the contract - Develop and implement transportation strategies to optimize efficiency and reduce costs - Direct workflow, observe performance and resolve difficulties pertaining to inadequate response to movement requirements - Monitor and ensure compliance with transportation regulations and safety standards - Oversees the preparation and submission of installation reports, traffic management reports and statistical data of all personal property activities - Maintain the installation of non-tactical vehicles and Army owned vehicles - Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth coordination of transportation activities - Identify areas for process improvement and implement necessary changes Skills:
- Strong leadership and management abilities - Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills - Knowledge of transportation regulations and safety standards - Proficient in using transportation management software and systems - Effective communication skills, both verbal and written - Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines - Strong attention to detail Must have 5 years military or civilian Transportation Management Must possess and be able to maintain Secret Security Clearance Must have extensive knowledge of all areas of military transportation Job Type:
