Transportation Manager Position Summary The Personal Property and Movement (PPMO), Supervisor requires five years of documented supervisory experience and a comprehensive knowledge of governing regulations, policies, procedures and instructions in assigned area of responsibility.
This position requires a Secret Security Clearance.
Essential Functions The Personal Property and Movement (PPMO), Supervisor is responsible for the day to day activities within both the Travel and Freight Offices.
The Personal Property and Movement (PPMO), Supervisor conducts this operation through both the Travel and Freight Leads as his/her conduit.
The Supervisor has direct oversight of both offices for execution of the work as prescribed with in the contract's Performance Work Statement (PWS).
Minimum Requirements The position requires five years of documented supervisory experience and a comprehensive knowledge of governing regulations, policies, procedures and instructions in assigned area of responsibility.
Must have a comprehensive knowledge of all installed product software at the use/operator level and automated data processing policies and procedures as they pertain to assigned equipment, both STAMIS and Installation desktop computer which will allow the contractor to solve and/or contact appropriate technical support to resolve any problem associated with these systems.
Ability to provide information and reports, resolve issues and recommend actions to improve delivery of services to the customers.
Skills in verbal and written communications to conduct meetings, execute plans, and prepare reports, plans, and working instructions.
Five years of relevant experience in all aspects ofpersonal property requirements.
A comprehensive knowledge ofpersonal property regulations, policies, and procedures.
The ability to proficiently utilize Electronic Transportation Operational Personal Property Standardized System, and the Defense Personal Property System.
A comprehensive knowledge of the Defense Personal Property Program.
The Personal Property Supervisor is required to have a SECRET security clearance.
General Requirements Excellent written and oral communications skills; proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
Excellent attention to detail.
Ability to complete and prioritize tasks on multiple concurrent projects within given timeframes.
Work well in a team environment and able to work with a diverse group ofpeople.
Discretion and trustworthiness due to frequent contact with confidential material.
Communicate with co-workers, management, clients and all others in a comieous and professional manner.
Conform with and abide by all regulations, policies, work procedures, and instructions.
Education and Citizenship Requirements Desirable:
Bachelor's Degree in Management or other related discipline from a recognized and accredited institution.
Required:
US nationality/citizenship and residence, with verbal and written fluency in English.
